As IT Product Owner, I was brought in to rapidly assess and improve Monify’s internal loan management system and define a roadmap for developing a new client-facing self-service platform.
Within just two weeks, I conducted a comprehensive analysis of the existing loan infrastructure, identifying key inefficiencies and proposing a clear strategic plan for modernization. Based on my evaluation, I designed mockups and user flows outlining a new vision for the platform’s user experience.
I then assembled and led a small development team, guiding them through the delivery of an MVP version of the self-service portal’s UI — built and deployed into production within the same two-week sprint. This initiative not only demonstrated the feasibility of the new product vision but also served as a foundation for subsequent feature expansion and system integration.
Key outcomes:
- Reduced initial product validation time from months to weeks.
- Established a scalable technical and UX foundation for future product iterations.
- Strengthened collaboration between business, design, and engineering teams under agile principles.
